Orthodontics is the treatment of improperly aligned teeth and facial anomalies. The treatment is accomplished with the use of braces (clear or metallic) and in many  cases orthodontic appliances.

Today, in some cases, we also have the ability to move teeth with clear splints that do not require braces.
